Benefits of Cerato ME/LE VoIP Communications
Background
The 20-20 system that began as a tandem switch, was enhanced with PBX features and comprehensive CTI applications, now delivers packet switching technologies to create a converged system. Current users of the 20-20 can preserve their investment, add high-end applications, and migrate to VoIP without a forklift upgrade. The transition to VoIP takes place in a controlled fashion without disruption of telephony services while converged voice and data networks are established. New users gain the advantage of a reliable and mature switching platform operating as a gateway to legacy telephone networks while establishing reliable VoIP services on their data networks. The 20-20 offers a cost effective and flexible architecture for introducing VoIP services.
Overview
Our initial offering introduces VoIP products as upgrades to the 20-20. The most frequently requested VoIP upgrades are gateways, telephone sets, and interoperability with other systems. We have completed the development of a new family of modules to address these needs.
These products are easily added to current 20-20 systems by plugging modules into available telephony slots. Some features require the addition of a PC server to support various VoIP network applications.
Teltronics provides guidelines and professional services to help users ensure that their data networks support the appropriate Quality of Service (QoS) for reliable voice operation. |
