The ranking was based on 2007 fiscal year gross revenue by sale of IT hardware and software, software licenses, custom software sales, professional services, and managed services for thousands of VAR’s across the country.
Significance: VAR Business Magazine, a prestigious CMP Media publication and solutions-centric magazine, recognized Teltronics for the 2nd consecutive year as one of the top VAR’s in North America. The magazine is business and government focused, and with a good majority of our business in Education, Prison and Municipal systems, and the Local, State, and Federal government markets, we are honored to be included in this list.

Teltronics received the Exporting Excellence Award from the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council (EDC). The award acknowledges one Manatee County company whose export business has seen an increase in shipments, volume and expansion in countries serviced. To be included on this list is significant to Teltronics because Systems Contractor News reaches many of our customer demographics.
Exporting Excellence Award

Description: Teltronics received the Exporting Excellence Award from the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council (EDC) at the annual Industry of the Year Awards. The award acknowledges one Manatee County company whose export business has seen an increase in shipments, volume and expansion in countries serviced.
Significance: It is important to us that our local Manatee Chamber has recognized our efforts in exporting. Not only have we enhanced exporting at Teltronics, but in turn helped stimulate the economy of Manatee County. Teltronics exports products to all regions of the world including North and South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, the United Kingdom, Russian and various islands and military bases. Approximately 15% of our business is international.

Teltronics Inc. Receives Technology/Innovation Award
Teltronics was again recognized by the Economic Development
Council (EDC) of the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce for
being a Manatee County company who has developed and enhanced telecommunications technology. The EDC recognizes hundreds of companies throughout Manatee County for various reasons and in several different categories. Teltronics has developed six new technologies in the past five years, making it a worthy recipient of this award. Articles about the winning companies appeared in several Sarasota/Bradenton newspapers.
Teltronics, Inc. Recognized as Manufacturer of the Year Finalist
Teltronics was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a finalist in the category of Manufacturer of the Year for 2006. Teltronics was one of three Florida companies, chosen based on manufacturing innovations, technologies and certifications. Teltronics products are manufactured in an ISO-certified facility in Sarasota, FL.

Once a year VARBusiness, a CMP Media bi-weekly magazine, solicits companies from past participation and their current circulation database, as well as conducts internet searches for companies eligible for this recognition. Selection is based on 2004 revenue derived from federal, state, and local government customers. Teltronics Inc. Receives Export Excellence Award
Teltronics was recognized by the Economic Development Council (EDC) of the Manatee County chamber of Commerce for being a Manatee County company whose export sales have doubled over the last 3+ years. The EDC recognizes hundreds of companies throughout Manatee County for various reasons and in several different categories. Award categories include: Work Force Initiative, Technology and Innovation, Industry of the Year –100 employees or less, and Industry of the Year – more than 100 employees. The Export Excellence award was a new category for 2004. Last year Teltronics won the Work Force Initiative Award and two years ago the technology and Innovation Award. This year along with receiving the Export Excellence Award we were also one of the finalists for the Technology and Innovation Award. Articles about the winning companies appeared in several Sarasota/Bradenton newspapers along with several Tampa Bay area publications.

Teltronics Receives Workforce Initiatives Award
Teltronics was the recipient of the Manatee Chamber Economic Development Council Workforce Initiatives award. Teltronics, out of over hundreds of applicants for this award, won the award which recognizes a company for its contribution and creativity on workforce initiatives. As a result Teltronics was mentioned along with the other award winners in the Dec. 4, 2003 edition of the Sarasota Tribune and Bradenton Herald local newspapers.

Fast 50 - September 2002
Every year over 6500 companies, (of which only 50 are chosen) located in what is known as the Florida High Tech Corridor (www.floirdahightech.com), are eligible to win the Deloitte & Touché Fast 50 Award. The Florida High Tech Corridor includes 21 counties in the state of Florida. The corridor stretches on the west coast of Florida north from Levy County, south to Sarasota/DeSoto Counties across to Brevard County on the east coast and north to Flagler County.
The criteria considered for private and publicly traded technology companies to be eligible for this award include being in business for at least 5 years with revenues of at least $50,000 in 1997 and revenues of at least $1 million in 2001. Teltronics placed 34th out of the 50 companies that were selected.
Industry of the Year Finalist - September 2002
The Industry of the Year Award is a local event highlighting companies located in Manatee County that are value-added industries. This award, given out by the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce - Economic Development Council, recognizes companies that have shown achievements in any one of the following categories: company growth, technological developments, workforce initiatives, and community leadership. Each of these categories has specific areas of contributions that must be meant. In 2002, Teltronics was chosen as one of the 25 finalists for this award. |
