Cerato IP Specifications
Cerato IP runs on an industry standard Linux operating system to provide a high degree of reliability and performance, without locking users into proprietary, closed architectures. The system operates over a 100BaseT, full-duplex switched Ethernet LAN and supports a suite of gateways for connection to both IP and traditional PSTN networks.
The system can act as a standalone VoIP private communications exchange (PCX) or work in conjunction with any circuit-based switching system to add VoIP functionality to an existing telecommunications network. The Cerato IP (formerly Cypreon) controller and universal gateways can be centralized or distributed across the network, enabling the system to operate as either a single site or enterprise solution. And because multiple Cerato IP's can connect over an IP WAN, you can seamlessly interconnect hundreds of users independent of physical location.
