Highlighted System Features

Call Routing - Cerato SE provides optimum routing for specific groups of numbers such as international or cell phone calls.  This feature directs calls via the lowest-cost network and accommodates a public network-based VPN.

Digital and IP system phone options - The Executive Digital and IP key sets have four-line, back-lit displays with context-sensitive navigation keys and a Direct Station Select (DSS) or Button Expansion Module (BEM) option.  The Standard two-wire key set is fully hands-free with a single line, back-lit display.

IP Security against intrusion - Internet calls from the Cerato IP Executive key sets are secure.  All VoIP connections, call set-up and voice streams, are encoded using a highly secure encryption algorithm (AES).

Desktop Dialing - Cerato SE computer telephony integration (CTI) allows users to dial-out from Microsoft Outlook using the desktop PC to set up.

Remote Options - After stepping through the wizard to configure anIP key set, a home-based or remote worker, can simply plug the phone into a power source, connect to a broadband router, and via the Cerato SE the phone is operational.  This allows the remote worker to make and receive internal or external calls and access system feature. The remote worker is connected via a highly secure tunnel, just like any other extension, even though he or she may be located on a different continent.  The only cost for the remote worker is the cost of the local Internet access connection.

Applications Card

The Applications Card provides two channels of voice mail with email forwarding as .wav attachments and four hours storage.  It has a capacity of up to 12 channels and 20 hours of storage; opened using software keys, to support the following features:

  • VoIP User Licenses for VoIP compression and echo cancellation

  • Voice mail with email forwarding of voice mails as .wav attachments

  • Advanced Multi-layer Auto Attendant with 10 interactive messages

  • Recording and email forwarding of voice calls on a global or individual call basis

  • Music on Hold (MOH) with a downloadable .wav capacity up to 45 minutes

Voice Over IP - The Applications Card accommodates Voice over IP traffic with voice compression, for optimum use of available bandwidth, and echo cancellation.  These channels give remote and home workers full-system phone functionality via VoIP telephones over broadband.

Voice mail with email forwarding - Individual and group voice mails may be forwarded to your email inbox.  Memos and messages can easily be recorded and forwarded throughout the system.  While out of the office, you can remotely change settings including call forwarding, voice mail greetings, etc.  When traveling voice mail messages can be retrieved, cost effectively, via the Internet. 

Advanced Automated Attendant - The advanced Automated Attendant handles important customer calls professionally with up to 10 interactive voice messages and menus.  This means, 10 separate messages can be played to callers depending on the number dialed, the time of day, the language preference or other options selected by the caller.  The Advanced Automated Attendant can be used to construct a menu tree where, for example, one branch allows the caller to filter through group and extension name choices to a particular destination, or,an alternative branch that leads to more detailed levels of information, events or timetables.

Call Record with email forwarding - Call Record channels are available on the Applications Card.  A Cerato SE Executive station canrecord calls or portions of calls in their voice mailbox using a single-key press to activate/deactivate the recording.  Recorded conversations can be forwarded to the email address associated with the recorded extension.
