Teltronics received the Exporting Excellence Award from Florida’s Manatee County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council (EDC).  The award acknowledges one Manatee County company whose export business has seen an increase in shipments, volume and expansion in countries serviced. This award was presented at the Industry of the Year Luncheon held on December 6, 2007.

Biz941 Magazine, a magazine that focuses Sarasota and Manatee businesses, acknowledged Teltronics in their cover story, “Top Companies of 2008”. The editorial ranked the 89 highest grossing companies in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Teltronics ranked # 62 on the list.

Systems Contractor News (SCN) honored Teltronics through recognition into their prestigious Top 50 List. This list acknowledges the elite companies in the Systems Integration business. SCN's list of Top 50 Systems Integrators was based on revenues from system integration sales - not just total revenue. This year's selection was published in the December 2007 issue and was sorted by estimated revenue from commercial installations for 2007 and then by total revenue. Teltronics joins the list with other top system integrators such as Audio Visual Innovations, The Whitlock Group and the Southern Business Communications Group.

What’s New…

1. Government Telecommunications, Inc. (GTI) is very pleased to enter into a partnering agreement with Teltronics. Under the new partnership, GTI will market and sell the Teltronics small-to-medium sized telecommunications systems to the Federal Government under a GSA Schedule Contract Teaming Agreement. Teltronics systems help fulfill the continual growth in the government’s telecommunications needs that address both TDM and VoIP requirements, at very cost effective prices. This relationship is viewed as a definite benefit for both GTI and Teltronics along with the federal government customer. Current GTI customers include:  The Department of Justice, GSA FTS, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, the Department of Justice, U.S. Postal Service, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and others.
2. Teltronics has signed a domestic distribution agreement with Clear Choice Telephones, Inc.  as our newest distributor. Clear Choice is a Georgia based company with clients throughout North America. Their client roster has grown to over 700 customers, including such well known names as the American Cancer Society and John Wieland Homes.
3. Spanish translated ISM, 20-20 and Cerato SE documents are now available. They are on the web under the downloads section.

Where We've Been...

Eric Carpenter, an ISM/OTM Customer Service Representative in the Sarasota office, represented Teltronics at Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s “Real Life 101.” This volunteer opportunity allowed for local business representative to interact with seventh graders and offer them a glimpse into the world of work and stress the importance of work ethic, as well as expand their career horizons. Way to go, Eric!
