Cisco Unified CallManager is the software-based call-processing component of the Cisco IP Telephony solution that manages IP Telephony devices and call services over the data network. It provides many functions, such as managing call setup, controlling devices, and collecting statistics on call quality. It can manage IP phones, media processing devices, voice gateways, and multimedia applications.
Nortel Monitor Probe for CS1000
This probe monitors the health and status of key Nortel CS1000 components such as Call Servers, Media Gateways, Signaling Servers and Network Routing Servers measuring end-to-end voice quality and identifying potential failures before end users are negatively impacted. This probe utilizes SNMP Traps, SNMP Agents, Rlogin and an optional serial interface to determine the health and well being of the Nortel devices.

This probe offers managed service applications and larger enterprises additional call processing capacity and features. VQProbe Plus stores historical call quality records (CQR) that provide comprehensive metrics on every call the probe monitors.
