Queries DHCP Servers and monitors response times.
E2E Application Response Probe
Monitors end-to-end application response times. Allows for recording application transactions. It converts the recorded transaction into a custom application response time probe. The response time probe is deployed at strategic remote locations in order to simulate and monitor the end user’s experience with business applications.
Email Response Probe
Monitors email services. Using SMTP, the probe sends a mail-message to a defined mail server. The probe retrieves the message back from the mail server, using POP3 or IMAP protocols.
Exchange Client Response Probe
Monitors response time of Exchange server. Monitors email send response times and round trip email response times using MAPI and optionally SMTP.
FTP Response Probe
Monitors FTP authentication response times.
HTTP Request Response Time Probe
Monitors live web application HTTP traffic on the system hosting the probe to capture the true end-user service level experience. Allows for the definition of profiles for URLs that require page download response monitoring
LDAP Response Probe
Monitors a set of LDAP servers by regularly querying them with a predefined lookup call. Alarm messages can be generated on response time and number of found records.
URL Response Probe
Monitors URL's for the time it takes to download the page, as well as performing comparison checks on the page-contents. It supports proxies and user authentication.
WINS Response Probe
Monitors the WINS response for one or more Windows Internet Name Service (WINS) servers, based on individual monitoring profiles for the different WINS Servers. |
